PET OF THE WEEK
Buffy is a 12 year old spayed female Cockapoo.  She weighs about 20 pounds and is blind in both eyes.  Buffy came to APR because her family fell on hard times and lost their home.  Her owners had originally rescued her from an abusive situation.  Buffy is very sweet and affectionate and will lay by your side.  One of her favorite things after being brushed is to roll on her back for tummy rubs.  She also loves her nicknames, Buffydoo, pumpkin, princess and pretty girl.  Buffy is good with other dogs too.  Buffy is a great companion for an older person that loves dogs and is ready to receive a lot of love from a cute four legged little girl. 

Sunnie is a two year old spayed female Chihuahua-Terrier mix that weighs 18 pounds.  She has a shining personality, very active and playful, loves to fetch a ball or frisbee and to go on walks.  Sunnie is good with other dogs and would do well with another young active dog.  She has not had any formal obedience training however she would enjoy and benefit from obedience classes.  Sunnie would do best in a home that is committed to obedience training and excersise because she is active.  The ideal home for Sunnie will have a fenced in yard, children over the age of 14, and no cats.
Lance is a neutered male domestic long hair cat. A very sweet and handsome boy, Lance was born in February 2002.  Lance can be a bit shy at first and needs some time to warm up to people, but he is very friendly once he gets to know you. He would do best in an adult only household.

Mac is a beautiful neutered male Orange Tabby who as born in August 2005. Mac weighs 18 pounds and loves to be petted, scratched, and paid attention to once he comes to know you. He would like a home without small children or dogs - a home with other cats would be great as he is a gentle soul and used to other cats.

 

Libby is a very lovable eight year old spayed female foxhound mix. She weighs about 65 pounds. Libby loves people and very good with children. She also enjoys long walks, playing in the snow and car rides. She is good with other dogs, however she is not good with cats. Libby has had some obedience training but would love going for more since she loves to socialize and please her owner. Libby's new family needs to know that Libby requires a secure, fenced-in yard. If you're looking for a nice companion that loves to give doggie kisses and affection Libby's the dog for you.

As her name suggests, Teensy is a light-colored, beautiful, dainty little spayed female Tiger.  Born in Jun 2005, Teensy is a very nice girl who loves being with you and being pampered and petted after getting to know you.
