Dear All Pets Rescue,

Just checking in to let you know that everything is going terrifically with Nina. Len and I (and Rex, too) absolutely adore her. Even the cats are beginning to warm up to her.

Nina She really is one of the most affectionate dogs I've ever met. I'm glad she's a relatively small dog because she doesn't just have to touch you, she has to be on top of you! Especially in bed--yes, she sleeps with us and Rex!

To think that this little dog started life on an island so many miles away and through the work of so many people wound up with us in CT is really hard to imagine. Thank you!

I love the way she leaps over Rex (as you described) and she's amazing how she can jump straight up from a standstill--like a pronghorn. She is becoming more confident in her play, vocalizing more, and Rex even lets her put him on his back. I never get tired watching dogs play.

I could go on, but I really just want to let you know that there is no doubt in our minds that she has found her forever home.

Thanks,
Gayle
